What a way to start my new blog.
Having a legend in the sport as part of a promotion is special.
I was really happy to see my friends and teammates hard work recognized, especially my brother Anthony who earned his purple belt.
Jiu Jitsu is a long journey that at times can feel like you haven't accomplished much and you're only spinning your wheels. Then you have days like this, proud days, that are a culmination of all your blood, sweat, and tears. In that instance and for the rest of your life, you'll know that you did something worth doing.
Congratulations to everyone that was promoted.
